The Pearl – Porto Arabia
Doha, Qatar
A $2.5 billion, island-city in the Arabian Gulf near Doha, The Pearl-Qatar covers 985 acres of reclaimed land and creates more than 20 miles of new coastline. Callison planned and designed the entire island development, which is expected to support more than 40,000 residents. The first phase, Porto Arabia, includes 31, 20-story towers, as well as a million square feet of retail and office space, three hotels and a 480-slip marina.
