To regionalize and roll out a new prototype for California, Wachovia turned to Callison to develop an environmentally friendly, cost-effective and functional branch design. To support expansion plans, we conducted extensive market research to identify and gauge customer preferences. The result is a design solution that supports personal connections and increases customer loyalty and satisfaction. A prototype “kit of parts” including finishes, signage and wayfinding allows for regional adaptability and standardization. The design also responds to Wachovia’s commitment to environmental stewardship through the use of sustainable materials, energy-efficient ventilation systems and aggressive recycling programs.
