Westlake/Terry Building

Vulcan

Creating a legacy

This two building office complex is part of Vulcan’s 60-acre redevelopment in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood. Finished ahead of schedule, under budget and fully leased, Westlake/Terry is a sustainable, eco-friendly facility. It is also Seattle's first private sector new construction office building to earn prestigious LEED Gold Core & Shell certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The building performance monitoring system optimizes energy by 30 percent and drought-tolerant plants reduce irrigating by 50 percent. Building amenities include restaurants, retail, showers and lockers, bike storage and a connection to the city’s new streetcar line.
